B is for Bárbara,
I’m 20 y/o, Brazilian,
economist-to-be.

LOVE FOR: words, specially poems and lyrics; music and all kind of sounds; old Hollywood movies; urban and fashion photography; regular people, fashion models, and musicians, and finally, beautiful or busy places.

Star

It’s like she’s iluminated or something…
People who come across her, like her.

When she first step in the room you won’t notice her…
But when you get to talk to her, it’s just so  automatic.
People who come across her way, stay.

Something about her mean smile and innocent eyes.
You won’t notice it at first, but once you get to know her…

She’s no star to show up and shine,
But giver her a second of your time.
I still wish all her time was mine.

And I didn’t notice it at first sight,
But once I got to know her,
Once I got to know her,
She was mine.

For a fraction of time,
She was just mine.

Before you jump,
Tell me what you find when you read my mind.

The Killers +

I wish you’d stop ignoring me
Because you’re sending me to despair
Without a sound yeah you’re calling me
And I don’t think it’s very fair

Arctic Monkeys +

I don’t care if you really care as long as you don’t go.

The Cardigans +

Lover please do not,
fall to your knees it’s not
like I believe in
everlasting love.

Laura Marling +

When I offer you survival,
You say it’s hard enough to live,
It’s not so bad, it’s not so bad
How do you know that you’re right?

The Killers +

She’s got her halo and wings
Hidden under his eyes
But she’s an angel for sure
She just can’t stop telling lies
But it’s too late for his love
Already caught in a trap
His angel’s kiss was a joke
And she is not coming back

The Killers +

A man can never dream these kind of things
Especially when she came and spread her wings
Whisper in my ear the things I’d like
Then she flew away into the night
Gonna write a song so she can see
Give her all the love she gives to me
Talk of better days that have yet to come
Never felt this love from anyone
